Description
What is Fertilife man?
Fertilife man is a supplement focused on improving male fertility. The combination of its natural ingredients aims to increase sperm quality by improving both sperm count and morphology and mobility.
Fertilife has been designed in 2 different flavors: Tropical and watermelon.
What are the components of Fertilife man?
The formula of Fertility man is unique and has been rigorously formulated to act synergistically through different mechanisms
inositol
Inositol is a molecule that has been shown to be effective in treating infertility. In the case of Fertilife, the combination of myo inositol and chiro inositol are used, two of the compounds with the greatest evidence.
Myo inositol has been shown to improve sperm quality in scenarios where obesity, diabetes, insulin resistance and other factors that worsen sperm quality are present. Similar benefits have been observed in the case of chiro inositol, however, new data show that it can reduce the conversion of testosterone to estrogen, improving the sexual hormonal profile of affected men.
N-acetyl cysteine
N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a precursor antioxidant compound of glutathione (one of the largest antioxidants in our body).
One of the main causes of infertility in men is the high presence of oxidizing molecules (ROS). That is why NAC supplementation has shown improvements in sperm concentration and in cases of asthenozoospermia (sperm mobility)
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha is an herb from India (hence known as Indian ginseng) used in ancient times as an adaptogen. Currently it has been shown that the consumption of this root has benefits in cases of male fertility problems by having an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. As a result, the consumption of ashwagandha could be of interest in some cases of hypogonadism or sperm motility problems.
Selenium
Selenium is a micronutrient related to the anti-oxidant activity of our body. In addition, selenium is essential for the formation of selenoproteins found in seminal fluid, being a marker used today to measure sperm quality.
Data in Spain show that due to our lifestyle, plasma selenium levels have been reduced, finding that about 50% of men are at risk of having insufficiency in this element.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D is a vitamin that we obtain through sun exposure, however, it is estimated that a significant part of the population may have a deficit of this due to factors such as being overweight or lack of exposure.
As far as fertility is concerned, it has been observed that vitamin D receptors are found both in the testicles and in sperm, being relevant in sperm quality. That is why low levels of vitamin D have been associated with poorer sperm count and motility.
The dose used in Fertilife is sufficient to reverse any possible deficiency without compromising the health of the consumer.
